A.R. Rahman's latest musical show
He’s peaking to the tops more and more with great flight… It looks like sooner; he would be paid Crores and Crores if he just inaugurates a showroom. Winning Oscars first time for the Indian People, he had planned to host a charity show to raise funds for the AIDS affected children. For a greater Surprise, ticket rates sold between the range of Rs.1000 and Rs. 25,000 were sold out within fraction of time…
Diehard fans of Rahman all over the World flew straight to the concert to heed for his spellbinding melodies. As a complete sum, Rs. 7.5 Crores were raised from tickets and Rahman was offered a compliment of Rs 1.5 Crores. ‘Keralam’ – the association that hosted this grand musical night has again planned to come up with yet another show by Rahman at Abu Dabi by next month
Suriya’s Kakka Kakka again
Singam, the Suriya starrrer, which is being directed by Hari, will have the actor featuring as a police officer yet again. The last time Suriya’s fans got to see him as a police officer was in Kaaka Kaaka and that film was box office smash hit. It may be recalled that director Hari and Suriya had earlier teamed up in Aaru and Vel. Incidentally, Hari wielded the megaphone for Samy, which had Vikram donning the cop role. This film was also a blockbuster.
Singam is being produced jointly by Gnanavelraja of Studio Green and BIG Pictures. This flick will have Suriya pairing up with Anushka for the first time. Devi Sri Prasad will score the music for Singam. Priyan wields the camera and VT Vijayan will take care of the editing.
Manirathnam's new movie Raavan
The filmmaker is far-famed for completing his schedules on the designed time period. Unfortunately, due to his health constraints, it has taken to be bit delayed. It’s all about ‘Raavan’ that the entire globe talks about now. Made simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil, couple of schedules has been already completed.
Manirathnam had planned to complete the climax stunt sequences by April 20 and due to his heart problem, it was dropped. However now, with the entire cast and crewmembers extending their support, the climax would be shot across the thick forest of Chalakudi on May 25. Soon after that, plans are to complete the shooting with remaining talkie portions in Bangalore. The filmmaker is sure about complete as the filming by June.
